My long terms goals are to
1. keep my weight and diabetes under control--to avoid more serious heart problems.
2. keep my muscles and joints healthy, and age related pain under control.
My short term goals are to
1. drink more water daily (eight cups of water and other liquids)
2. track my calories and nutrition (stay within my target range)--1200-1500 max--I will allow myself a single day splurge but still within this range==no more.

3. use elliptical or walk at least half an hour---at least three days a week
4. exercise at least three days a week--target my upper body, core, and lower body joints
5. lose a few pounds while gaining healthy muscles---(would be a nice added bonus)
6. keep this up longer than a new year resolution--month or two---lol
7. help my spouse come on board = few of these goals
8. have fun and not sweat this--I want to-relax using my plan rather than stress over it
