I am the mother of two boys ages 19 and 12. I have lived with my fiancee for five years. I gained 80 pounds with my first pregnancy and never lost it. I have dieted to lose weight and then gain it back plus more several times. I have a degenerative disc in my back. Because of my severe back pain, I was sitting all the time and reached my highest weight ever. I also became a diabetic. This was two years ago. I have undergone steroid shots into my spine and now my back pain is more manageable. I have already lost 35 pounds but still have a long way to go. My fiancee needs to lose weight as well. We have set a goal to get married in October of 2015. We hope to reach our goal weights by then.

I like the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. Other authors I like are Nicholas Sparks, Sue Grafton, Dean Koontz, and J.K. Rowling. I like romantic comedy movies. Some favorites are Notting Hill, Definitely Maybe, Forget Paris, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
