Wendy's Journey

We are retired from farming, and soon will be celebrating our 55th anniversary! My husband and I going WW 8 years ago and he lost 50 and I lost 40 and reached our goal. We have maintained since, but I am wanting to lose at least 5 more lbs, so I can breathe easier to maintain....... Spark People is a great motivator for me.

Hello Wendy, I am also from Iowa, I am more East Central, but I have some family back your way. I saw your post in the Iowa Team meet and greet. Thanks for stopping by. I added you as a spark friend, you are welcome to add me if you like. The more people that support each other the nicer the journey I say.

WooHoo, it's Friday; the perfect day to start liking your how you look! It really does not matter what size you are. So please stop listening to the media telling you that you have to be a size 0. Your dress size does determine who you are. Do not let them take the joy out of your life. What they tell you and say is not the truth. They have a hidden agenda which does not care about anyone but their wallet. Yet, we give the media so much power. It's time stop.

Now is the time to be happy with how you look. After all, you are God's masterpiece--100% made by Him. Now how can you NOT be beautiful? How can you NOT like how you look? God does not make anything unattractive.

I want you to know that you really are beautiful. You brighten my day and make me feel that I am special. Your inner beauty touches my life and I am so much better because of it. This my friend is what real beauty is, not a being a size 0.

A loving heart is beautiful to everyone. It does not fade in beauty, it is always admired and enjoyed. We spend so much time concerning our selves with our outer appearance. But our inner appearance is what is most important. It covers all wrinkles, aging spots and any imperfections you see. No lotions, creams, make-up or plastic surgery can make you as beautiful as a loving heart can.

I think you heart is beautiful!

I sincerely hope you are smiling and enjoying this wonderful Wednesday!

Donít take a single day for granted. Take moments to appreciate what you have and what you have done already before continuing on to the next step in life. We have so much, yet do not take time to notice what we do have.

It is a blessing to be alive each day. Make it a great day for yourself and everyone around you! And most of all, make your Heavenly Father smile!

emoticon I am glad you liked yesterday's hymn blog. (I posted a more modern hymn for today.) Hope your pain has gone away. Blessings, Joanie emoticon emoticon
