Thank You so much for commenting on my blog re: "Giving." I love what you did for the family of the man who was in an accident. What is really special, is that now, he wants to return the kindness to someone else. Giving leads to giving......... We have done the same thing as a family. We live in an area surrounded by Amish families. My husband became good friends with the head of the family who lives closest to us and found out over time that with 9 children, they were really struggling. Their oldest daughter suffered from anorexia and had to be hospitalized for several weeks, leading to enormous hospital bills. We took Christmas dinner to the family and I knit mittens and scarves for each of them. We did this for several years until they were back on their feet. They were so appreciative and to this day, go out of their way to stop on Christmas Eve with bakery. They just opened a bakery about 2 miles from us (too close) and have been operating for about 2 years now. I wish you a very Happy Holiday Season.
Hi There! Thank you so much for your support on my blog. We can do it! I always found this and wanted to share!!!.....If you truly get in touch with a piece of carrot, you get in touch with the soil, the rain, the sunshine. You get in touch with Mother Earth and eating in such a way, you feel in touch with true life, your roots, and that is meditation. If we chew every morsel of our food in that way we become grateful and when you are grateful, you are happy. Thich Nhat Hanh 5 days ago
