Hello my name is Angela, i'm 45 and way over weight.
i had gotten up to 286 lbs. in 1999 and i told my self i have to do something i had no energery to do anything at all. myself and my mom had started walking and exercising everday. i had gotten down to 145 and i felt good, looked good, was healthy and i could do any thing and not be short of breath.i started putting it on a little at a time in 2001. Now in 2012 I am at 248 lbs but i really want to get down to about 145 again. i know that isn't my ideal weight but at my age and all i will be good at that weight and the Dr. agrees also. I know I can do it because I did it before. For now i am taking it 10 lbs at a time that way it wont seem as much to lose. And maybe i wont get over welmed with it and stop again.
A little inspiration to take it one pound at a time. . .

That is until I've grown to 10, 20, 30 or even more pounds in weight.

So, when you weigh in keep right on saying, "Oh, I only lost one pound." (As if that was such a terrible thing.) For you see, if you do this, you encourage others to keep me around because they will think I'm just not worth the effort."

to lose 60 + lbs. but to do it one pound at a time and also be healthy;
to eat healthier, and to exercise daily for better health:
to stay with-in my calorieof 1200-1550, to stay with-in my sodium intake,(i never knew how much this mattered):
to keep my head held high no matter what..
Be active on my teams.
Drink 8 glasses of water.
Eat within my calorie range.
No eating after 8pm.
Take my morning walk around the building i work in 4 x's (1mile).
Walk with my 2 dogs every evening at 7:30 pm.
Sunday is my day of rest!
