Now trying to maintain...

I have lost a total of about 65 pounds since starting my quest to get into better shape. I ran a marathon last year for the first (and probably last) time. Now, I am in a maintain mode and finding it harder to maintain than to lose since the goals are not as lofty.

CruiseGal - I should have noted that I did change to the real numbers. I realized that, you know, I already ate the food, is wasn't like it mattered that I put in the real or the wrong numbers. The fact was that I was monitoring and keeping it very close.

Thanks for stopping by my Blog- Please share an Ah- Ha moment.
You know what they say- "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll fall among the stars."- Norman Vincent Peale
Tracking & missing your mark, is much more positive behavior, than fudging numbers. Fudging is just another way of saying LYING.
emoticon You run 5Ks.... Great Job.

I think I am done with 5K runs. Now I will be doing longer runs and hill/speed work.

The plan is the same one my son used. He just pulled it from the internet. It is a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, with a long Saturday run. The Saturday builds to 20 miles, two weeks before the race.

I pulled the hammy two days after my son was born in 1987 and I continue to pull it on a regular basis. It sucks getting old.
