I have been on this weight loss journey since 2006 with Spark People. I originally lost over 50 lbs! Wasn't at my goal, but had about 30 more lbs to lose. I had maintained that weight loss,(using the tools I learned here at Spark People) for about 2 years. Then, it started creeping up again.

Then I went back to school. Raising 3 kids (and a husband) at home and working full time, going to school part time.....really messes with your eating/exercise schedule! I am finally done with school and ready to get a new schedule!

I have started/stopped on this journey so many times. My original tagline was "Baby steps". I am now 15 lbs over my old "heaviest weight".... and I am feeling it. Plantar Fascitis has come back, have high blood pressure again, borderline diabetic, my knees are hurting, exhausted all the time, self esteem is very poor, etc etc etc...

So, I am changing the game plan. My new tagline is "Success is measured by getting up from the last time you fell down." I'm getting up again- and will keep getting up until I find the motivation to get to my goal! What is my goal? My first goal is to get back to the OLD highest weight. Then, we'll take it from there. Long term goal is to lose around 100 lbs.

I hope that once I grasp this (again), that I will be a good example for my children and they will readily follow in my footsteps.

And, my goal is to change my attitude, from poor me to positive me! That's a hard one for me. My husband calls me Eyore.....now its time to become Tigger! Here we go.....

My goal is to adopt a new, healthy lifestyle, incorporating exercise and healthy eating into my daily life, and pass the new life on to my children, hopefully they will adopt it with me. I don't want them to struggle like I have.


My Program:
-Track my food intake
-Track my exercise
-Exercise at least 10 minutes daily, using workout videos, Wii, and SP.
-Teach my children the healthy way to live!

Reward system:
mini goal- 10% of body weight to lower bp and move out of the borderline diabetic stage! So, first goal- 25 lbs! Reward: date night to musical of my choice!
2nd goal- 10% off 1st goal weight, another 23 lbs! Reward: new outfits

Exercise reward: Pinterest idea! Tip myself a dollar every time I do my exercise! Put the $ in a "tip jar" and watch the results add up!!!!
