I am a certified professional massage therapist who's just finished her schooling and is embarking on a career in wellness. I have also been overweight almost all of my life.
Now that I am 40, will be working in a field that not only requires physical strength, stamina, and well-being, but also in which I will be hoping to encourage it in others, I really want more out of life, and out of my body.
I think I'm a pretty great person, but I also think my weight has held me back from a lot in life. It's influenced what I thought I could do, what I thought was possible for me inter-personally, what I even thought I could realistically dream.
I don't want any more needless limitations.
I want to be the physically stable, strong, well, sexy woman that I feel I can be. I have finally come to a place in my life where I believe in the beauty of my spirit, and in my potential.
It's simply time to act on it.
I want more, that's all.
Achieve and maintain a normal weight.
Look and feel strong and healthy.
Discover my inner athlete.
Reduce my blood pressure without having to go on medication.
Tracking foods faithfully.
Eating as cleanly as possible.
Eating 5+servings of vegetables and 2+ servings of fruit per day.
Starting a sensible exercise program and learning to push myself as time goes on.
Looking into the psychological and spiritual origins of my obesity and demolishing them.

thanks for visiting my site and commenting on my blog.. yes, I'm answering a little late. I've been busy dragon boating! *grin* I've watched crew teams before and I don't think I'd be able to do that.. I don't think I'd fit in the boat! I guess that's what I love about dragon boat.. nothing is going to tip that sucker! lol I would love to try rowing one day.. I've started kayaking and I'm working on moving to the competitive boats. I know I'll never get further in them but I just want to be able to say, I paddle competitive kayaks and canoes. I need to lose more weight and work on my balance to be able to do that thought. The funny part of all this is that I only discovered this love of paddling last august. I love being on the water.
