I suck at these, really. I'm closer to thirty than twenty. I'm a tournant chef. I write, I read, I fangirl, and I love video games, comics, horror, food, sustainability, pets and animals, and all things (ok, a lot of things) pagan and mythology. I'm also quite political (socialist feminist) and I try to keep up on current events. I quite like exercising and I try to eat healthy, though I do have my vices.

My Goals:
Lose 10 lbs by my birthday. Maybe even before. Holy crap. Sleep decent at least five days a week. Drink water when I'm not at work. Walk the dog.

My Program:
Cooking healthier meals- more veggies, whole wheat options, less fatty meats, more water.

Making myself hit the gym even if I'm tired- I always feel so much better afterward.

Personal Information:
I am a person. Kind of. I am not a straight person. I DO have body dysmorphia / eating issues, so for the moment I'm not going to track my food. It leads to some unhealthy habits for me.

Mostly I want to look and feel my best- what's best for me.

Dropping by with a warm welcome to Spark People. I wanted to wish you much success on reaching all your goals. The key to remember is that there are no quick fixes. This is a lifestyle change. Create goals. Long term and lots of mini short ones. Take baby steps, reward yourself when you reach mini goals and don't beat yourself up if you mess up. This is something you have the rest of your life to get right. Keep exercise enjoyable and remember to switch it up it shouldn't be punishment. Also, try to make small changes weekly to your eating habits. Switch up a side dish, add a new fruit or veggie, remove a snack, etc. BUT, do not force yourself to give up everything you like. Everything is fine in moderation. Lastly, use the trackers here at spark. They really let you see exactly where your trouble zones are.

If you need any help or would like someone to talk to, motivate you, etc. you can message me or contact me on my sparkpage. (Even add me as friend if you would like)

    A little inspiration:

"Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open." ~ B.K.S. Iyengar

Much love and light on your journey.

    Keep Smiling,

    Mandy ツ
