So grateful for SparkPeople! I started (again) at 280 in April, 2013, determined to lose at least 100 pounds. As of January, I lost about 30 pounds but have learned how to treat myself better, how to track, and become ever committed to long term weight loss. My long term goal is about 150.

September 2013: I have lost steadily and tracked my food and have lost about 25 pounds since my highest weight of 288. On the way to 150. I am 61, in the middle of a divorce, and have ...

Reconstruction ourselves isn't easy is it?

Thanks for mentioning the new book by Campbell. I just bought it for my kindle. Didn't know about it. Been busy here myself and don't plan to stop.

There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time. This expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it.

It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.
Martha Graham

I am leaving SP the end of the week. Met my 50 pound goal and want time to pursue other interests! I'm doing well and hope that you are too!

emoticon Pam! I hope you don't mind, but I'm visiting spark members that are celebrating our LORD JESUS. May we never forget the true meaning of Easter. For when Jesus was on the cross, we were on his mind. Easter Sunday is a time to rejoice and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus! Alleluia! HE IS RISEN!! May the blessings of Easter fill your life with inner peace, unconditional love and lasting joy. The Lord wraps you in his love and blesses you always. Have a beautiful and blessed Easter holiday weekend!
