I am a 30-something year old wife to a wonderful husband and mother of 3 awesome children. I've been in this weight loss battle since '98, but I feel like I can reach my goals this time. I don't plan to give up until I reach success. I'm well on my way, and I'll get there with God's help.

I am excited about all of the activities that are headed our way and pray that I can get in the best shape of my life. If the Lord says the same, I will turn 40 in August of this year. I want this to be my best year yet!

My Goals:
My current goal is to lose 5 pounds a month for a total of 25 pounds by June 1st! I will continue that goal for the rest of the year, aiming for a loss of 45-50 pounds for the year 2014!

My Program:
I am currently researching the proper foods to rid my body of H-Pylori bacteria. Lately, I have been actively practicing meditating on God's Word so that it will enrich my life, give me direction, and help me reach my goals. So far, it is helping me tremendously. I am focusing on incorporating more fiber in my diet, drinking more water, and exercising at least 150 minutes a week.

Other Information:
I am an avid reader, and I love to write in my spare time. Bowling is a favorite family activity that we indulge in as often as we can. But most of all, I love to spend time with family and friends, doing whatever makes us happy at that time.
