This is my 2nd serious spark trip. I did look great. Got derailed and am going back to what works.

5% Challenge goal is to track my food within my calorie range and especially watch the fat grams. I am following the Denise Austin Daily Dozen exercises which includes a minimum of 12 miles a week. Will start with non challenge exercises and in the 2nd month add the challenge exercises.

Walking 60 minutes a day, 30 aerobic 6 times a week.
Strength training 3 times a week for 20 minutes minimum.

HI Terry !!

HOW COOL U treated ur sister like an ADORABLE QUEEN !! EVERYONE deserves this from time to time !! Glad to see ur emails are on again, but yeah,, I would of ALSO turned mine off as much as I could "get away with". Being the CL,,, well LOL that's NOT a lot !! Unless I have MaryAnnS step in. than janey has to step up,, woohoooo !!

With the arm curls,, Ur welcomed. They help me out SO MUCHERS !!! And right now,, with her broken leg/ankle,, Cheri is doing them ALL THOUGH OUT the ENTIRE Day,, and earning herself 120 mins or MORE a day !! WHAT A GAL huh?

With the NO eating of EXTRA Candy,, there are a few ways of approaching this. IF you can "control" the amount of what it is you wish to hav,,,, that'd be great !! And to "make look like more than it is" I cut the pieces up (or smash if it's hard candy,, as is often the case this time around,, such as the little hearts,,and I DO Love those !) into the smallest bites I can. This way instead of having 2 pieces,, which we QUICKLY SWALLOW anyways,, I have 8 pieces,, and I take my time with them in my mouth ! YUMMY !!!! I enjoy them so much morah !
2) If you can NOT control the amount you have, plz do NOT deprive urself of ANY sweetness type of foods. If you grab a SWEET yogurt,,, yogurt covered (or choc) raisens,,, nuts,,, dried fruits,, YUMMY !!! They taste SOOOO AWESOME !! just watch the cal size on them. ALso for an EXTRA treat for supper or lunch,,, have something different than normal,, that you will TOTALLY ENJOY, but is still very good for you. If you like freggies,,, than try a new veggie,,,, or fix a fav one in a diff way,, to really enhance the flavor,, such as adding "mrs dash" to it,, and cook it in olive oil,,, siuch as baked,,, fried,,,, just make sure to 1st count ur calories, to make sure you can do this,, or eat something with way less cals at night time,,, (Supper) it'll be soo worth it.

I also am LOVING popsicles,,, with only 20 cals !! (No sugar added) and I want to start to make MY OWN !! WOOHOOO !! I ADORE popsicles,,, and it's STILl as much fun as when you were a kid,, to watch ur tongue turn colors !! HAHAHAHA !! but since they are sweet,, cold,,, it takes place of candy,,,, and can last longer.

Any sweet fruit,,, I LOVE cinnamon apple sauc a te,, pineapples,,,, etc,,,, dates,, also take place of candy. I am learning now that I can EASILY grab a bowl of veggies,, and put some sweeter type of yogurt or PB with them.

ENJOY !!! Hope this helps. :) I'll also ask one of the leaders,,, to Plz put out an article tomorrow,, on how to ADVOID the candy around the holidays,,,

Remember: 1o seconds on the LIPS is FOREVER on the HIPS !!! Ask urself,, B4 !! YES B4 !! you go to eat it,,, "is it really worth it? The flavor will be GONE in about 10 seconds after I've eaten it,,, and than I have ALL the cals, which do NOT leave sooo easily,,, is it WORTH IT"? Often my answer is a simple NO !!

Of course NOT bringing ANY into the house if you live with just adults make sit that much EASIER, but if you live with kids,,, DOLE IT OUT NOW. In General Kids do NOT like to share candy,, esp if we ask them "Please do NOT give Mommy/Grammy any,, even if I BEG FOR IT " !!! This worked GREAT for me !! LOL those little SNOTS,, always KEPT IT TO THEMSELVES,, even when I 'pretended' to cry ! They just LAUGHED and MUNCHED DOWN !

HI Hon !!! I had NO IDEA you aren't accepting email from the team? I tried to send you and a few others a special email that may help you out. It's to help you with getting healthier,,,,, while watching TV, walking around the stores,,, (without the weights) ,,, cooking ,, any down time,,, just keep track of the amount of time you spend on this. Here's the link.

Please have FUN WITH THIS !! it's a proven fact the more exercise we do,, and if we can find something like this,,, or wrist curls,,,, than it helps us to keep in mind to NOT snack out on junk food ! WOOHOOOO !!!!! It helps us to stay sooo much better off,, being a KEY in weight loss.
