I joined SP in 2007 (I think) - I did great for awhile - lost several pounds (20 or so). Then, something happened (I don't remember what), and I got off track. Late last year (2009), I re-joined SP and created a new account. I have really struggled in the last two years with my weight and my habits.
So, today, I decided to copy all of my blogs and information from my 2nd spark page to my original one and change my user name. That is my way of starting "fresh" and still being able to see where I've been.
Recently, I've felt my body enter a place that I never thought it would - It is uncomfortable to bend over....I ache when I get up in the's hard to get up and down off the floor when I'm playing with my children....even my "fat clothes" feel tight. I don't want to be this person.
It has been hard to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle, but I WILL do it! Even if (when) I have bad days, I must pick myself up and get back on track. I must keep my eye on the prize and not lose sight of the goal. No matter how good it feels to indulge in food that I shouldn't eat, it never tastes as good as being skinny feels!
I work full-time, and I have two small children, so it's hard to find time to work out. But, I WILL find time. Somehow, some way, I will make time to exercise regularly. But I won't push myself into burn out. I will take it one step at a time. I can't jump back into running - my body would rebel - but, I can start a regular walking routine and eventually run again.

My Goals:
Yes, I want to be healthy and fit, but I'm not going to lie. My #1 goal is to get back into my pre-pregnancy jeans! I have a long way to go, but I'm taking it one step at a time.

My Program:
Tracking every calorie on SP. I'm starting with a walking routine with some interval running. Hopefully before too long I'll be doing more walking than running. Strength training 2x week.
