Life's journey to a healthy me

I started my journey toward a healthier life several years ago and have had several set backs. The hardest was losing my Father in 2010 and breast cancer in 2009. After chemo and several surgeries later I am happy to report that I am doing much better and have even managed to loose 30+ lbs in about 11 months. That may not be fast but is definately a big improvement.

Up date: Starting over as of today and will take it slower and stay on track, not worrying about what the scale says.

ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time,
add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee."

Cancer is definitely an eye opener! It also motivates me to lose weight. Cancer is on all sides of my family: skin cancer on my dads side, brain and breast cancer on my moms. I know I can't eliminate my risk/chances, but I can sure lower them!

Hello Wshaye,

Thank you so much for your support and friendship. Your prayers are so helpful. God has truely blessed me so many times in the past few months that I have to remember that. I have posted a blog to keep people in touch with me. I hope that you know I appreciate your friendship!

Tell me how you are and how your journey is.

Much love,

Kristin
