You sound a bit like me! Love learning. Majored in Nursing, Minored in Psychology. Worked then when my brother passed away in 1982, decided to go for my Masters in Public Health Administration. Good to learn the financial side of the health arena! You're right . . . no matter what classes we take, it is knowledge we can apply to all areas of our life!
My DD is pretty confused about what she wants to be, so yes, it is a very mature and wise choice to just take the generals and figure it out. It's hard!!! Right now, actually, seems like she's leaning towards a major in business. I told her, no matter what she may end up doing, that's useful info! So, we'll see!
Goof for you. What are you going to major in? My DD (19) initially wanted nursing (I'm a nurse) but she decided against that. Then she thought about psychology. Now she's nixed that. SO basically she's taking core courses that would apply to any major and has to figure the rest out. She will. It's tough.
I will pass on your well wishes and certainly wish you every success as well!
