APRIL - MAY 2015

I decided that this is my year - well, am getting off to a slow start - but have kept going.

This month (April) i started another challenge and am so determined to complete. One of the posters on my Goal Board Check-In is "Commit and Conquer" so am reminded every morning of my commitment. Am getting to the club most every day - and am getting outside - mostly just cleaning up the flowerbeds at this point.

Am getting to the club most every day - and am getting outside - mostly just cleaning up the flowerbeds at this point.

In MAY, my goal is to continue with the 30 day challenge I am doing and perhaps picking up another one when the 30 days ends. And, am looking more at my diet. I am not much of a cook and really do not enjoy it much, but want to begin planning a weekly menu and trying a new recipe each week. Will see how that goes. I have found so great recipes here on SparkPeople that I think i will be trying.

2. Take meds every day and track.
3. And, can't leave off my knitting!!

Other Information:
Looks like we are going to have a dry summer - not much snow in the mountains. But, God is still on His Throne and is still in control.

Good afternoon Barb, hope you're well.

l have the two littlest grandchildren and their friend for the day on a Tuesday, l love it they're such cards!
Yesterday we went to the park and then they played in the garden as the weather was so nice, they were bouncing on the trampoline and giggling away.
Amelia goes to nursery in the afternoon and l have Joseph and his little girlfriend River to look after, Joseph's seventeen months and River is thirteen months so it's fun!
l then collect Amelia and Belle after school and take them back home, my son has changed his shifts at work and he's usually home when we get back.

l'm just nicely back from the kneeler group, we don't seem to get a lot of sewing done but we do a lot of talking...lol...it's nice to be with friends again after missing a few with being poorly.

l've been given the all clear at the doctors and hospital and am finally feeling like l've turned a corner, still a few symptoms left hanging on from the virus l had four months ago but l definitely feel a lot better and am now sleeping through the night again which l think makes a big difference.

The weather's changed a bit, my washing was almost dry but is now blowing on the line in the middle of a right downpour...it can stay there too...lol...l'm definitely not going out to fetch it in in this!

Hope you have a wonderful week, enjoy your barbecue emoticon

Good morning Barb,
Glad to hear thar things are going well with you.
l'm feeling loads better, just one more check-up with the doctor on Wednesday and then that's it.

Our weather hasn't been too bad of late though we've had some thunderstorms which came with lots of rain. Today isn't too bad, it's sunny but there's a strong, cold wind blowing and we had a ground frost over night. lt was forecast so David managed to cover his seedlings after he got caught out a fortnight ago and lost all his runner beans.

Hope you have a wonderful week-end emoticon

Good morning Barb, hope you're well.
For once l did get a good night's sleep, the first in a long time as l've been having problems. l nod off for an hour then wake up for about five...lol...not good!

l had my last hospital visit yesterday...or so l thought...l actually have to return, yet again, in two weeks!!
My eye is almost back to normal, just odd flashes when l look to the right and there are a few floaters which weren't there before but l can focus now and it's not blurred so l feel much happier in myself. l only lost the sight in one eye which was bad enough, it must be really awful to blind all the time.

The lethargy, hot flushes, coldness, tingling and sleeplessness is a viral infection in my kidney, medication is sorting it but l still have blood in my urine hence the next visit in two weeks.
l feel a lot better and am beginning to get out and about again but l know just what you mean by 'pooped'...lol...l'm like that now and l've only just got up!!.

Your daughter has done very well, it's hard to do it on your own, l take my hat of to her. l'll be nice for you to visit and go on her machines.

l've stuck a load of washing in the machine and David has put the line out for me so all l have to do is peg is out, there's a nice breeze blowing and intermittent sunshine so it should dry.

Take care and have a good week emoticon
