A Journey to ONEderland

I started to struggle with my weight in 6th grade. Family had just moved to Hawaii and I was a born and raised Cali girl . My world shattered and my weight went up .

I am a emotional eater . I associate with emotions that start with S . Sad -Stressed .

Here is a breakdown of my life. I have been picked on growing up , I have had people in my adult life treat me like crap . All because of weight.

Sadly thats just how the world works, looks first and personality second. 1st battle is surround your self with LIFE MINDED PEOPLE
Once you find that your set for life.

The 2nd thing you do is ACCEPT that your unhealthy, obese, fat, chunky whatever you want to call it .
ACCEPT IT .

The 3rd and most important step is to COMMIT. Commit your self to a healthier lifestyle . It's a LIFESTYLE NOT A DIET

and the 4th step is to FORGIVE ..
you're human you are going to make mistake, you will fall and get distracted by the shiny objects but YOU WILL get back on track !

Watch me as I fall ,crawl, cry , get lost and find my way back to a healthy me !!

I'm sorry it's been a while since I've checked in on you. These past two months have been busy with the move and with school starting! Being an education major is no small feat! Although I had gained back those 4.25 pounds I had lost, I'm back at it again! I started last week and have already lost 3 pounds! Hopefully now that I'm in a routine, I can stick with it!

I hope that you are doing good! :)

Well, the move went well in the respect of getting everything to the apartment in one piece. But the nightmare started when my friend and I walked into the new apartment for the first time. It was *filthy*, there was no washer and dryer when there should have been, the floors hadn't been replaced as promised, and it smelled so musty inside. These are nice apartments, but there obviously had been no inspection prior to our coming. So we had to live through a mini renovation for the first couple of days, and actually had to check into a hotel on the first night. emoticon

But we are getting settled and things have gotten a lot better! And yes, the stairs are excellent exercise! Lol I'm sorry that you're struggling with what happened, and that you are having a hard time going through this. But you're doing it, and you know you're doing it for you, and that's fantastic. :)

I had no plans for this past weekend, except unpack boxes and get things put away. Lol We'll get there though! I'm glad that classes don't start until the end of the month! At the moment, because I don't use workout DVDs, I can't think of a favorite. But there was a time when I did, and it was Tae Bo work outs with Billy Blanks. They are a little dated, but they will make you sweat!
