Nearly there!

I am 51, very active and yet struggle to maintain what I consider an acceptable weight - I bike and work out at the gym, cardio and strength, and at this moment am the strongest and fittest I have ever been. Woo Hoo to that! Looking to lose a few more pounds, then working on maintenance. Specifically, I would like to weigh what I weigh now on Jan 5.

The other owner said the dog has broken multiple chains.....but was only on a 10 lb weight max chain. I am suurpise this was first time, but I am glad I will hopefully be the last. I love dogs, but not aggressive ones.

I didn't realize how ambiguous my status was... I guess spinning means a lot of different things. Usually, it means bike spinning to me, but this time, I meant that seemingly every day for the last two weeks I have spun the Spark wheel and scored a 3. I was getting a little exasperated, but I did get a change of spins... 2s for the last 2 days!
LOL... well, I guess I did want a different number.

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I have no idea what kind of bike I want. My current bike is a GT and it's a good bike, but it's getting very old. I test-rode a Specialized Ruby so far, and I didn't care for the handlebars. I want a faster bike, but also one that is still comfortable. I have high expectations. ;)

Tell me about your race. Do you have a link to it? I cant imagine racing. RE my next event, I work weekends and it interferes with my wants lol. Also, I am getting a bit lonely pedaling by myself. This silly community is so tight I cant get into any groups. My friendliness along road and trail has not paid off either. Oh well I am determined. I was just reading a Bicycling Magarticle about burn out and also HIT. Seems like a good idea for me to implement. Well keep up thegreat training and blogging I am your fan! emoticon
