I WANT TO BE A BIG LOSER!!! Hello.... My name is Yesenia. I joined SP on 1/6/2008 after hearing about it through a cable special on Fad Diets. To make a long story short. I was not an obese child nor teenager. I gain weight after having children, not surely why, stress, life, depression....... Whatever the reason that got me here, it is now time to do something about it. That is why I am here at Spark People. UPDATE!! It is now August 30, 2011 and I have actually gain back whatever I lost and than some. 2011 has been a hectic year in my life. Last year I found out I had a thyroid problem (discouraging), I have been on meds for about 10 months and feel it is done nothing. I lost both my mother and grandmother this year. Life simply has been an emotional roller coaster this year. I've lost balance and focus of me and I need to somehow start again from zero. I KNOW I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL DO THIS NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I FALL. I am worth it. It is up to me if I lose or not lose it is my choice. No one can do this for me. I choose to control what goes in my mouth. I choose to do exercise or not do it. I have to make changes and stick to them. I need a lifestyle change there is no magic trick in this journey. I do not have all the answers. I am still in the process. I am still struggling. I am still fighting obstacles, tempations, procastination daily. BUT.... I am not giving up until eventually everything in me (body, mind, heart, soul, thinking and my will) connect together and kick ass in this journey until we win this war.

9/21/2011 My new strategy in this journey to health is to attempt to lose weight 5% at a time. I will not think of the big number but break it up in smaller #'s instead. 05%__13 lbs. 10%__26 lbs. 15%__39 lbs. 20%__52 lbs. 25%__65 lbs. 30%__78 lbs. 35%__91 lbs. 40%__104 lbs. 45%__117 lbs. 50%__130 lbs. MY PROMISE: NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I FALL OR GIVE-IN I WILL NOT GIVE UP THIS FIGHT UNTIL I HAVE WON THE WAR!!!
My Program:
To focus only on what I can do today and aim for my 100% effort. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not here. ONE DAY AT A TIME! ONE MEAL AT A TIME! ONE POUND AT A TIME! *Exercise at least 5 days a week. *Drink all my water *Eat Breakfast *Portion Control *NO POP *Cut back snacks
