    Tinsel Tri is Dec 13 and it is super flat, so you could walk or run no problem. Leah and I are doing it (with our teenagers:-)

    No judgement here...you are way closer to doing one than I am:-) I understand injuries and how they are mentally challenging; I recently had to take 2 weeks off from running or squatting (that's hard when your main exercise is Crossfit!), but I healed much faster than I expected (I usually just push through). Like you said, you body might need to get used to the pounding again before it let's you do that distance;-) Are you still following the Galloway method?

    Awesome!! Praying for a great run for you this weekend (and no injuries:). I did one competition in January...might do another one day, but I need a lot more months of Crossfit under my belt to be competitive. Right now I am trying to lean out (story of my life!) with the hopes of possibly doing a half ironman next year. That has always been my big scary goal, and I think next year might be a good time for it (hubby says I get one shot because of all the training time requried). So we will see:-)
