November 2, 2009, today I celebrate one year with SparkPeople! I have lost weight and gotten healthier. My sleep at night is longer and my endurance is up.

My Goals:
I have a year old grandson. I would like to be around for his wedding as well as all my granddaughters.

To travel more easily and sight see without being winded.

Walk down stairs without feeling as if I will fall. My legs are stiff! (I have improved in this! 11/2/09)

My Program:
My yard is getting a make over as I am using it for my excercise.

Personal Information:
I have lived on Guam and in Micronesia since August '64! I love the warm tropics and have enjoyed visiting family and friends in the states in the summer since my youngest son became a flight attendent with Continental Micronesia! I now have six grand daughters one grand son and a great grand child! They light up my life.

Other Information:
I am learning to do things with my computer since I joined Sparks. It has been fun!

That's a bad situation for sure.

Your best option for weight loss then is watching your food intake.

There's also a program called "Breathersize". It's using the breath in a particular way to help the body burn calories I believe. I tried it years ago.

Jane that is not good. Perhaps an MRI is something to look into. Sounds like it's a spine compression issue.

Perhaps also going to an indoor swimming pool would help alleviate the pain for awhile at least.

How are you doing on your diet?
