Positive thoughts produce positive results.

My phrase for 2016 is "less talk and more action"

It's so easy to talk about doing things to help me get healthier, but when it comes right down to doing those things sometimes I have a problem putting them into action. So reading a team mates blog and recalling an Elvis song came up with my phrase and it seems to be working for me. It's surprising where we sometimes find inspiration, there's plenty on Spark to be found, we ...

It's so easy to talk about doing things to help me get healthier, but when it comes right down to doing those things sometimes I have a problem putting them into action. So reading a team mates blog and recalling an Elvis song came up with my phrase and it seems to be working for me. It's surprising where we sometimes find inspiration, there's plenty on Spark to be found, we just have to find what speaks to us.

Wishing all a very successful 2016!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I think I might have to falter and replace the microwave. It was a harsh day without it, lol. Never really thought about it, but it does come in handy. :)

How great that you and your DD are a team with your fitbits! I remember a while back, your fitness program took off again -- is that what renewed your motivation?

When I was down in NC recently, my SIL and I made an agreement to get fitbits and be buddies. We both made good on our promise on 1/19. I, too, look at exercise in a different way. I like knowing my HR during exercise, though I didn't think that feature would be all that useful to me, it is.

Wishing you a super charged Wednesday, friend! emoticon

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I am doing better struggling with hunger and cravings.Coming off simple carbs and breads is so hard. But I will do it. Please be careful with the cold. Our weather is fairly mild. Stay safe and warm.
