Positive thoughts produce positive results.

My word for 2015 is seeking.

In 2015 I will be seeking a healthier lifestyle. There needs to be changes made and I know it's up to me. I've been at this for a while and I'll admit there have been times I just wanted to quit, but there is such great encouragement and support here, that quitting just isn't an option. I'll keep trying till I get to where I want to be.

Here's to a healthier 2015 for all of us.

Thanks for your comment on my status. Grandson LOVES pumpkin pies, at nearly a whole one at Thanksgiving and another at Christmas - both with whipped cream slathered every piece! He's turning 15 and plays basketball, skinny as a rail and burning off every calorie. Lucky him! He apparently asked his mother for a pumpkin pie - a whole all to himself - for birthday in place of a cake. So I will make 2 pies, one for him, one for the rest of us.

Thank you, Shirl, for the birthday wishes! It would be a perfect day if there were no sn*w...or if the roads were cleared better, at least.

Treating myself to a counseling session now that I am officially a "senior citizen." LOL Then home to watch "Mary Poppins," my annual tradition!

Hugs & blessings. Thanks for remembering my day.

Shadow turned 21 (human years) last week and she is showing her age in every way. She cried a lot last night. I kept picking her up to put her in bed with me and petting her. She'd be okay for a while then jump down and come back crying again. She had food. I think she's tired and wanted attention. She curls up next to me pretty much whenever I am home. I don't know how much longer she will last because 21 is not on the age chart at the Vet.

I really appreciate your encouraging comments on my recent blog. I don't rant very often but sometimes a button gets pushed and I can't seem to help myself. Better to rant than to eat chocolate! I especially appreciate having another "senior" person in my life. Sometimes I just want to give up on the weight battle, although I know my heart health depends on it. Knowing someone else is continuing the battle helps keep me motivated. Thank you!

Hi, Shirl. Not doing very well with the sn*w, between what's outside and knowing we have 8to 14 inches ahead of us starting tonight through tomorrow night. If my boss understood, I wouldn't be so anxious. Supposed to go to an Urban Sweat place tomorrow (ugh) and she still hasn't cancelled. My BP must be elevated because I have a major headache & a nosebleed this morning. Just did my WATP DVD that arrived this week. Hoping it will lower my BP a bit.

Stay warm & safe! Hugs & blessings.
