Zabeth's Journey

**UPDATE 6/5/13** I have lost a lot of the weight. My 30th birthday was a huge push and I have just kept going. I still have some weight to drop and I am working on that, but more than that I am focusing on having a healthy family. We are taking walks/jogs together and growing a garden together. It is fun to watch my kids grow and choose the healthy things. Heck my almost 4 year old even likes peas and that makes me smile.

**UPDATE** My kids are now 3 and 19 months and I still haven't lost the weight. My 30th birthday is coming up and I would like to lose 15 pounds by the end of the year. I am working out everyday and running too. With persistence I know I can do this.

I am a mom of two kids under 2 and now I need to loose the baby weight. Being a busy mom it is hard to find time to exercise and we try to eat healthy, but it is often put on the back burner for something fast. My hope is that I can be a role model for my children in both exercise and healthy eating. My goal for 2011, now that my son is here healthy and happy, is to lose at least 20 pounds of baby weight.

My Goals:
2013:
1) First 10k ~ done with a time of 1:15
2) Second 10k to improve time
3) Complete BeFit in 90 program ~14 days in June 5
2012:
1) Feel better about myself. ~Most days I do, but there are times I don't. I know this is a side effect of the weight and I can change that.~
2) Work hard and play harder. ~I am accomplishing this goal one day at a time.~
3) Do something fun with my family every month. ~We have definately been doing this one.~

My Program:
I have changed the way I eat and the way I cook for my family, but we are always attempting to do better. I am running and attempting to train for a 10k in fall of 2013. Also, I am working in BeFit in 90 for strength training and non-running cardio.

Yeah, I'm sorta back to C25k. I have been crazy busy w/ tons of HH patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have kind of gotten off schedule. I've been able to go 2x/week but I really shoot for 4x/week. How about you? Your running continuing to go well? Are you still wanting to do the Christmas lights one in MWC for the December run?
