I am a stay at home mom with a wonderful husband and two awesome kids. My weight has always been a struggle for me as long as I can remember. I want to finally kick my weight problem in the rear end and move on to finally finding inner peace and happiness with myself. Since starting Spark it has been such a wonderful experience and I enjoy taking advantage of all it has to offer. Not only does it give you a diet, a workout plan, but support from the nicest people you'll ever meet!!! It is my safe place!! Welcome!!!

Just changed page title, because I am tired of being overweight!!!! I am feeling great with the changes so far...and I am going to enjoy the rest of my 30's...though I will be 39 in February. Here's to a rockin' future!!!!

April 5th-Ok...time to get back on track!!! I have been derailed by health issues that caused me to have setbacks in my weight loss and running. But today is the day I reset my tracker to zero!!! I gained 5lbs in the six weeks I was out of commission and it's time to get my tracker moving again!!!! I am motivated and ready to go!!!! I had to do it to get real with myself and to start moving forward once again!!!

May 18th, 2011...moving in the right direction. Going to run the Princess Half Marathon for my 40th birthday in February. Is there a better way to celebrate?!?!?

May 21st, 2012...celebrated my 40th running the Princess Half Marathon in Disney World with my Twinnie Kathleen0222!!!! The most amazing experience...and best way to enter my 40's!!! Now I'm working towards my next half marathon...the Hershey Half Marathon where we will run for chocolate!!!! Hence the name!!!

August 30, 2013...I have had so much success on this site. But really fallen off track. Time to regroup and get back on track. I want to have that confident happy feeling again.

5% Summer Challenge

I will run at least 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes. On off days I will find another activity that I like to cross train...even if it's for just 10 minutes. I will track my food on Spark daily. I will check in with my team daily and leave a comment on the Discussion Board.
