12/26/2015: 6months later and I'm hanging out at my goal weight with a lot of food changes that most importantly relate back to my relationship with food more than the actual food. It's an ongoing battle, but knowing that IS half the battle.

Day 1 (6/25/2015) all over again. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl a year ago and am beginning this adventure all over again with an entirely different perspective - and a whole lot less free time.

Day 320: Following all SP has to offer, I lost 88 pounds in 10 months and feel healthier - mentally and physically - but now it's time for a whole new experience. Just about finished with my first trimester and trying to learn a whole new set of ropes.

Day 180: On day 1 it felt impossible, on day 100 it felt manageable, and at 6 months it (and I) feel worth it.

Day 100: My original page title was "This is beginning to feel cliche". It doesn't anymore. I'm learning solutions and coping mechanisms for the emotional dependency and stress related relationship I had with food and how to live a life of balance. I don't have it all figured out, but I'm growing and shrinking through this process and that's all I can ask for.

Day 1 (1/2/13): I'm a twenty-something looking to improve her body image - like everyone else in my generation. Giving this a go for the third time around and looking to find the light at the end of the tunnel, rather than just stopping short and turning around.

My Goals:
I've wavered within 100 pounds for the past 15 years and have crept back up postpartum.

The goal is to slowly work myself to a healthy 140 lbs while balancing work, family, and me.


My Program:
This time I am focusing on moderation and pacing myself with mindful eating and exercise.

From June - July I followed diligent tracking and have moved into the Whole30 program for the month of August to reset my digestive system and relationship with food.

For the long-term, I am aiming to exercise at least 3 days a week (keeping it varied) and consistently remain mindful of portions, nutrients, and the difference between hunger and cravings.
