Took over 20 years but I finally got it!!!
I've done every diet known to man. I was successful too. Unfortunately, I was a lazy lump and didn't exercise. So I would gain the weight back. I wouldn't listen when people would say that you need to diet and exercise together. Well, now that I am in my 40's I thought it was time to make a permanent change. I wouldn't listen when people would say that you need to diet and exercise together. Well, now that I am in my 40's I thought it was time to make a permanent change. I needed to get healthy once and for all. I began watching what I eat and I became addicted to exercise. Shocker!!! I decided that it didn't matter whether I lost any weight, I just wanted to be healthy. I started my change a year and a half ago. Since then I've lost over 40 pounds and my endurance is through the roof. Both of which were added bonuses. Still a work in progress which I expect to be from now on. This is my life now. I am never going back to being unhealthy again. Yes, you can quote me on that!!!

My Goals:
My goal over the next year is to lose another 30 pounds. If I can reach this goal, I would love to get licensed as a zumba instructor or personal trainer for older active adults. I would love to work as a fitness instructor in a 55 and over community or maybe be a personal trainer for women over 40 who want to change their life.
My Program:
I am watching what I eat and trying to stick to a 1,500 calorie a day diet. I am also trying to burn 2,500 calories a week. I take a zumba class 4 times a week. I also lift weights or take a fit pump class 2 times a week. Lastly, I am trying to drink 8 glasses of water a day. This goal is new to me and actually the hardest.
