My weight loss goal is somewhere around 75 pounds total.

My real goal.... to look hot no matter what I am wearing! : )

My Program:
Walk one mile at lunch (almost) every day with my work buddies!!!

Walk at least two miles at home 4 nights per week.

I try to walk 5 miles at least two of those days.

Personal Information:
My name is Mandi. I am 32 years old, and single with no kids. I am very blessed to have great friends and family!!!

My walking started as a result of a breakup. I was having a really rough time, and my counselor suggested walking to burn off some of the negative energy, regain focus, and do something for myself.

I ended up loving it! The plan now is to continue working on me until that right guy happens to wander along (if ever). We refer to it as 'Watering the Bamboo' - a great book by Greg Bell.

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. I will be popping in on the Weeks 1 - 3 training to help answer any questions that might pop up and to cheer you on to your goals! Be blessed! Be a runner!
