Hi, My name is Becky.
I lost 30 lbs awhile ago with exercise and diet. Then I gained it all back. Joined SparkPeople early 2009 but did nothing with it until January 13, 2011 when I decided it was time to focus on getting healthy because more weight was creeping on. Now my husband is helping me get my groove back. We try to jog/walk 3 miles a day every other day. Also, I am biking 6.5 miles with my teenage daughter who is wanting to stay in shape and make healthier diet choices. I feel fantastic and alive. My goal is to lose 29 lbs by October.

My daughter has joined SparkTeens and my younger sister "CMORGART" has joined SparkPeople. We are all on our way to living a healthy lifestyle.

My Goals:
What I want since rejoining Jan 2011:
- Within a year, I want to lose 29lbs so I can be a fit and healthy role model to my two children.

Long term: To keep the weight off permanetely and to continue to be healthy role model to my family and frends.

Medium term: Lose 20lbs so I can start the process of my breast reduction.

Short term: Cardio excercise 10 - 30 min 6 days a week, drink 4 - 8 cups of water a day, strength training 3 days a week and track my food intake everyday.



My Program:
Keep track of what I eat through out the day and stay within calorie range.

Biking or walking 3x week

Strength training 3x week

run 3+ miles 3x week
Stretch everyday

My name is Becky. I am happily married with two children, a girl and boy. I work full time as a software engineer. I love reading, kayaking, hiking,genealogy,photography and traveling with my family.
