Typing with 1 Finger, No Friend Adds Please

Accurately tracking my food and fitness is what keeps me maintaining my weight loss. Thanks to Sparkpeople for getting me there!

Having RA since age 6.5, and years of hospital stays and surgeries (35 operations and counting) have kept me on a weight loss roller coaster my entire adult life. I have five artificial joints, but love to work out, the higher intensity the better. I have three forms of arthritis destroying my body, but fight against every body part they damage to keep moving. That is all that stands between me and a wheelchair. My favorite fitness classes are Boxercise, Step & Zumba! My trusty elliptical keeps me moving on the days I can't get out. Winters are long and hard here and even more challenging to keep moving.
I can only type with two fingers so request you do not add me as friend as its all I can do to keep up with the great friends I already have!! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this!

So sorry to hear of the tragedy - probably terroristic act - in your beloved country. Stay safe!

You are very well liked and respected here Linda, and I'm willing to bet at your bridge club too.

Your "station" in life and "formal education" and "former occupation" are all irrelevant -- it's WHO you are. Resilient, tough, determined, courageous. Yeah!!!

hi Llinda,
I had just started using a special compound which is a mixture of ingredients...all pain meds,...that my pain doctor had prescibed. Unfortunntly he is no longer treating me. I do have three containers of this cream left so won't run out immediately. I may ask him to call my rheumy and tell him the ingreients and give him the bumber of the compounding pharamacy.

My DH thinks it was going up into the loft using a metal drop-down ladder that did it. He probably put his foot on the step just a bit in the wrong way and hey presto, painful foot. You never can tell with RA though!

I hope your foot is a little more comfortable today. I used to have plantar fasciaitis (don't know if I have spelt that correctly) and that really was a pain in the heel. I was sent for an x-ray at the local hospital only to be told that they didn't x-ray for that any more! Thank goodness it is better now.
