This past year I began to focus more on "practicing what I preach". I lost 20 lbs. in the past year through regular physical activity and paying closer attention to my diet. There have been plateaus and even slight regressions. It didn't take me a month to gain that extra 20 lbs. Losing it slowly is key for me to keep physical activity and healthy eating a permenant part of my life.

Now that I know much more about nutrition I am more confident in switching over to a vegan diet. I have tried in the past and failed because I wasn't sure how to go about it in a healthy way. I am inspired by vegan athletes and bodybuilders. Right now I am a "flexitarian". I have cut my meat/dairy/egg consumption down considerably but am still an omnivore.
