Gotta Give Up the Weight!!!! :O)

I have been an emotional overeater who has eaten when upset, anxious, or bored...although any reason would do.

A nutritionist guided me to SP and, when I initially joined in 2008 with 92 lbs to lose, I did well, but then I sabotaged that success repeatedly. I needed to change this.

SP is fantastic for its structure, educational & motivational support and I love interacting with my fabulous Sparker friends.

Thanks for enjoying my Spark Page. You are a great help in what I'm doing, but I'm so busy right now with moving and running two households very poorly, that I haven't had much time to do anything except exercise, track nutrition, read emails, and just keep going.

Welcome to the 12 Weeks to Walking Team. It's a very diverse group from all over the world! Some can't walk 100 steps and some are doing 5K Walks. Look over the LINKS with the 3 levels, Best Foot Forward, Beginner and Intermediate and decide where you should begin. Print off the schedule in the level you choose and just start walking with us.

We'll be waiting to learn all about what you see as you walk along on this journey with us!! We want to hear all about what you see and hear where you walk. We get lots of weather reports and spring flower sightings. Those things are posted in the "Walking with Purpose" thread. Hope you'll join in the geography lesson!

Thanks for pointing out that Linda Spangler was on SP....wow this is amazing. I got a bit derailed with family obligations and not keeping up daily. Think I will begin again and do each day with intention! Love the book, had to read on and get the broad overview.
