Loved Knucklehead!! It works great as a middle school read aloud: short chapters, high interest, and an autobiography, too!!

Sometime I think I'm the oldest fan of Kid Lit! Retired now from years of teaching Nursery school..with a part time job, for a few years of working an Afterschool Program in 2 of our Townships elementary schools, and a Library Volunteer...and I read at least one preschool and one elementary aged book every day!
Now my Grandsons are the beneficiary of my love of good Kids Lit. And so far, they are 9 and 6 year old twins, they all love to read...they call ME, now, when they find a fun new series, or a "grown-up chapter book" that excited them, and they want to share."The Stinky Cheese Man" was a hit.
I am going to look for " Knucklehead". emoticon

Thanks for sharing!

My Mom taught me the story when I was a kid. The Three piags. Is it the one. I will huff and Puff and blow your house down or is it a new version? Then the next one was Three little kittens they loss their mittens. . Do you know who wrote the Three Little Kittens as well.
