First Full Week Off Coming Up

I met and passed my goal for the Biggest Loser Challenge that I'm participating in! I lost 3.2 pounds this week. My goal was 2 pounds. I now have six weeks of being home. Every summer I have a list of things I intend to get done. I always end up going back to school with most of them incomplete. I hope that's not the case this year. I am trying to do a week-by-week list list this time instead of looking at everything that needs to be done. Hopefully, I can handle that a little better. This week I need to wash all the windows outside and inside and clean the screens....not a favorite job. I also need to clean out a closet that I haven't cleaned out for at least ten years. That should be an adventure.

I just got off the treadmill and feel like I've taken a shower. Now for stretches. I hope this gets easier.

Finally reached one mile

I finally did it! It's taken about five weeks to build up to it, but I was finally able to do a mile on the treadmill. Next goal will be 1.25 miles.

Need to Restructure

Today was my first day off for summer break. I had a difficult time eating today. Normally, I bring a lunch bag full of lunch and snacks and would eat everything I brought. Being home, I did not eat as well. I did not to plan what I was going to eat ahead of time.. I need to fix that tomorrow. I still was on plan, just a little more haphazard. I think I'll put a sticky note on the fridge with the times and foods I should eat. I really need some consistency so I don't blow this!

I noticed I'm craving fast food a lot less. As a matter of fact. In the past week I haven't had any except a planned breakfast that was only 250 calories. I am not dreading exercise anymore. I can't say that I actually look forward to it yet, but I'm not hating it. After a month I've noticed that I'm not quite as focused on food as I was.

    That's Great! I feel the same way about exercise. Not sure I will ever look forward to exercise but I do feel better after I exercise. emoticon
