A spark friend told me something the other day, She said talk to yourself like you would a friend. In my life my friends are more like family and i hold them very dear. I can truly say that I love them. I would never in a million years talk to them and put them down like I do myself. I have my theories on why this is but I dont want to put it out there yet.

I do not know how to change it, I fear that If I dont that when I lose the weight that i will put right back on, cause i have not really changed the problem.
The truth is I don't love myself, I dont even like myself really. I put myself down all of the time with super negative self talk. I don't know how to change this or where to start.

Any advice on where to begin?

    Remind yourself of all the positive attributes about you. You're a hard worker, a wonderful mother, a kind loving person. You are a special person because you are created in God's image. And He doesn't make junk. Hope This helps

    I think your awareness is key. Once you know, you can act. I had to monitor my thought process to catch myself being negative. Once I practiced, I was able to question those thoughts as they entered my mind and counter them with new truths about who I am and who I will be! Sounds hokey, but it does help.

It's important to remind yourself of all of the positives that are YOU. We are all a mixture of strength/weakness, positive/negative. Which will you feed?

I cant believe I lost a 1/2 lb. I am so close to my 10 lb mark, that I can taste it! This has done a lot for my morale. I am officially back in the game emoticon

slowly getting it back

Yesterday I was somewhat successful, I stayed within calorie range and tracked everything which is a start. I only drank 6 out of 8 waters and no exercise. Today's goal is to get full water intake and get moving. My motivation is really low right now, so this is really feeling forced. I am afraid to weigh myself that is my goal for wed morning. I am hoping that if I can get through this first week back on that I will gain some momentum. I forgot how hard it was to do this when you just want to quit. My brain is sabotaging me with lots of negative self talk, for a while I was able to counteract it. Please wish me luck on getting out of my funk!

The first time you fight through that little voice saying "I don't want to exercise!" is the hardest but trust me it gets easier and easier until you shockingly start looking forward to it emoticon

this weekend I completely gave up , I binged the whole weekend. I really let myself down emoticon . In the past when I would have binges I would quit completely, Just say heck with it it is too much for me. I don't want it to be the same this time. Today I am getting back on track food wise. I am going to take a good walk. Tuesday I get back into my workouts.

I could use some encouragement right now.
