Yesterday I had Enough!!!
I threw the white flag !!!
I gave up
I didn't try
I wallowed in nothingness
I let stress and unhappiness win
I couldn't cope, I couldn't think , it was all to much
Medical issues, Financial Issues , Emotional Issues , yep they all ganged up and won .
I didn't exercise , I didn't care to , yep me the loony who usually craves exercise. I ate mediocre .I could have done better . I could have hunted down some good food in the bottom of the fridge or the freezer.
Yep, Yesterday Alice looked in the looking glass and say nothingness and a whole lot of it
So Alice went to bed and pulled the covers way over her head and gave in to the nothingness and slept 10 long glorious hours
Today Alice looked again into the looking glass
And saw hope, a glimmer of happiness, hope and love
Alice said to herself" I ought to know who I really am ". And she did. Because like you Alice is a winner and a fighter . Alice has a plan. She is back to eating healthy , and more important she is back to exercise . The stress and other issues are still there but Alice kicked them back in the corner where they belong
Alice may peek at the nothingness from time to time but Alice never gives up or in . Alice like you has insurmountable courage ,she's a fighter and a winner and today she is back to business Hugs ,Happiness and Healthy Living

We are all busy people, We have spouses , children ,parents friends. There are engagements to meet , appointments to keep, people to see. Adding to this mess we are supposed to add exercise and healthy eating to the mix.
All this works out well if we organize and get our ducks in a row. I like to do this on Sunday . I have a rough draft as to my exercise routine. I check the weather to see what days I should be able to walk , if not I have to double my workouts .
I make some meals for the week ahead of time , I hard boil eggs. Make a crock pot of oatmeal, I might make a chicken and then a soup . Or a beef roast and then vegetable beef soup. I make sure all my veggies are pre cut and maybe frozen if need be.
Before Saturdays grocery shop . I check the refrigerator for an fruit which is on the verge of bad and freeze for smoothies . Veggies get put in baggies and also frozen for soups and stews. Oranges not to far gone go in the garbage disposal to help keep it nice.
In my workout room you may find a little clutter .I do know where my exercise tapes are and all my weights are lined up and waiting for me. My daughter takes everything a step further she has an actual exercise journal she uses stickers various colored makers to chart her progress . She writes out work out finished as well as planned . How much calories how far she went how many steps her heart rate and how she slept that night . She is way more organized then me.
The day before right when I get home from work I make my lunch for work the next day and place it in the refrigerator along with a full water bottle. The night before I lay out my exercise clothes and work clothes. I also I make sure I know what I am going to have for breakfast .
When I wasn't organized I be like what am I doing today and the answer was usually nothing . Now I am on my way to success most days . Please add your ways to get organized to the list .Hugs , happiness and healthy living

Sometimes I talk about something, I can swear I am going to do it but I procrastinate so much that it never happens and I get myself in trouble. This almost happened today . I was going to walk after work. Right after work I said. Because the sun was still out.
Well first there was a fight to get in the house The husband and son were home locked in , and my key wouldn't work, The door handle is loose . I had to text my way in. lol Then there was a stop in the restroom, Then the computer was calling me , had to check my blogs here , check my mail , and check facebook to see what my daughter in college is up too. Right ? A likely excuse .
In between all that I had to see if I could figure out the results of my husbands visit to the doctor. He texted me at 10am to say he was still there and the doctor said to stop smoking. He has circulation issues in his legs. He was supposed to text me when he left. Instead he went straight home to bed because he had to work tonight also.
So when I got home I had to look for clues , as to what time to wake him for work . I found the truck parked in the driveway that meant he was probably home I found a doctors note that he was to return in 2 months so I figured he is okay. for now. So wake him at regular time 5 so he can eat and run out the door.
Then I saw the dog lease , oh my , my walk . a whole half hour had passed and I missed the sun. I had to shorten my walk which may have shortened my life by a nano second not good in my book , Plus all the stress from waiting and wondering about the doctors .
Don't let this happen to you cross that river before you upset that crocodile mother , before it is too late. Be quick. don't procrastinate, That is why I do my workout at 4am now right when I get up . Before life and distractions hit. Be Quick and swift and get er done . Hugs happiness and Healthy Living
