A lot of times it is a great idea to just listen:
To the thoughts of others ,you'll learn some great things
To the sounds of nature, they are there under all the rumble of noise
The sounds of birds and insects
The sounds of babbling brooks, meandering rivers and the crashing sounds of the mighty oceans waves
Listen to :
The sound of rain as it hits the earth , the wind in the trees or the grass, the tiny tinkle of a snowflake as it hits the earth .
Babies crying and children and seniors laughing
Frogs singing , wolves howling ,the rumble of whales ,
and if you listen super hard you may even hear the voice of God.

We all see the world a little differently. The world is not the same for each of us.
Here are some little things you can do to make your world view better:
Surround yourself with pictures of the things you love. My house has pictures of the ocean the forest and children. We also have family pictures ,most notably our wedding picture everywhere ,they are reminders of good times . My favorite actor is my screen saver makes me smile every time I come to the computer.
Spend some time volunteering or do something to save the environment. When you are active in your passions and proactive you are happier.
Watch less of the news and watch more heart warming stories. Remember what you watch ,read, or listen to can change your emotions and make you depressed , sad or angry or over the moon happy you decide.
Spend time with children they are the next generations they will remind you to be happy and to try to do little things to save the planet , for them.
Don't just dream about things do them when you can.
Get out in nature ,feel the sun dance in the rain.
Move your body you will feel more energized and happier.
Eat good clean food , preferable grown closer to home, it will have more nutrients and less impact on the environment.
Do what you can, forget what you can't and smile often .

Injuries to the mind body and soul are hard to bear, It all happens to us in one point in our live or another but it is how we deal with them that make us who we are.
In my twenties I was a victim of dating assault and I carried that pain with me for over thirty years. It prevented me from living my life as fully as I wanted. Who want s to live in fear and lock there self away but sadly that is what I did. Until I received a letter that stated ,"May the rest of your life be filled with Joy. "
From there I was on a mission , a mission to heal my heart mind and soul and to find the joy in life. You too can be on a mission to heal yourself.
When someone causes an injury to you don't let it fester and twist you up, heal yourself. Be loving and kind to you. Find the joy in your life and let it heal you.
Most of us here are exercising away, on most days. With movement you are bound to get hurt once in awhile. What do you do about it when it happens . Sit and mope? Or heal yourself. When you are injured is the best time to eat healthy and right to give your body the best chance to heal. Use what body parts are still working for you and exercise those with a doctors permission .
Two years ago I tripped over my bundles of fur and hurt my ribs and had a concussion. That's right those lovable healing creatures we call pets can and will hurt you , not intentionally. I didn't sit and mope. No I walked when I could and still went on a mini vacation to my favorite place the beach which has awesome healing powers.
Find your healing zone where ever it may be mountains, shore, your own backyard the neighborhood pool and spend some healing time there now and then whether you have an injury or not. Healing yourself should be a daily occurrence. Get your proper sleep .and extra when you can sleep is awesome for healing mind body and soul. Hugs happiness and healthy living

In weight loss it is good if you know yourself. What you are capable of? . How far you can push yourself? What are you goals ? How will you get there .? How do you feel?
But sometimes we don't know what we are truly capable of until we watch and know others. If someone can go from 300 to 150 pounds than you can certainly lose 40.
If Kasey Cantanzaro can run and beat an elite obstacle course on American Ninja Warrior at 5 feet 100 pounds than you can certainly do that extra rep you never thought possible.
I f my friends teenage son , who was born with epilepsy and told he would have learning disabilities and now goes to Dartmouth , can run for 8 hours, you can certainly run around the block.
Tony Horton the fitness guru of p90x and p90x2 and 3 is 55 . Look what he's body can do ,you can certainly move yours .See what others are doing at your age , not sitting on the couch all day,
Look to others for motivation and ideas. Know what others are able to do. Know what is truly possible and then get out there and copy or better it. Know what you need to, succeed.
