The only way to get by, to make it through , is to change .We can't change anyone we can only change ourselves.
We need to nurture what is good in us. Bolster up our strong parts. We need to keep and cultivate our good strong roots.
We need to cut and trim all our bad parts. Our fears , insecurities, our stubbornness , our laziness .
We need to keep our hopes and dreams .

What is so hard about seeing yourself toned fit ,trim ,and healthy. If you think it's impossible well that's okay to because the impossible happens all the time around here.
It can happen to you. You can succeed . One day at a time , one choice at a time . One step at a time.
Use your imagination to see yourself working out , eating healthy, and looking good. Imagine yourself happy . Imagine a you that can move better.

Forget work business . I view my health as an all important business . One I can't shirk and forget about. Have I made mistakes sure I have , a lot, but you know me , like everyone else is doing things my way.
Last night to go with kielbasa my husband made I made roasted potatoes , onions , and multi colored peppers , zucchini and yellow squash, and beets from the garden. I added olive oil and a packet of onion seasoning, and that was my down fall . I took something ultra healthy and killed it with two much sodium,.
This morning I took the dog for a walk when she got tuckered out I brought her home . And then I continued on alone . I walked 7500 steps all together by 10 am . My mistake is I may not have left enough in the tank for me to make my 1000 today. Too much to soon.
Last week I couldn't count all the mistakes I made. Not enough sleep, not enough movement in my day. Not enough stretching for the amount of exercising I was doing . Letting stress get to me , shirking house hold chores and more. Food wise not enough vegetables . Too much whey protein for the amount of food I was eating. Too much sodium, too much salad dressing , to many additives and the list goes on and on.
But guess what folks the scale had gone down the first time in months by over two pounds . So in all the wrongs all the mistakes , in doing things my way I still lost weight . I got some good nutrients in, I toned my body. I made sure I did enough exercise to ward off my depression,
Don't let your mistakes rule you and stop you in your tracks . They are all part of the business of everyday life , and we all make them . Just keep doing things your way . Keep pushing forward and trying you'll get there of that I am sure . Hugs Happiness and Healthy Living

I love this idea . We always write a list or notes on the back of envelopes . So why not make plans .
I am even going one step further . I am getting one of those huge yellow envelopes . On it I am writing the words........
Health and Happiness
And inside I will place a treasure trove of free ideas to get me there
A walk in the park, a swim at the lake , a hike up a mountain , a stroll on the beach.
Reading a book under a tree . A visit to a fishing hole. A picnic in the park .
Tending the garden .
Meditating with candles in a sunlit spot.
I will add healthy recipes , and awesome workouts .
List of books I can read to better my life, or just plan enjoy. Pictures of things that make me happy .
Everyday I can add new ideas and every day when I am stuck with no ideas and need inspiration I can take out my list.
Hope you are all having a happy healthy Saturday . This is the start of my three week staycation . We are short on funds , but still want some big happy healthy adventures . So I started off by sleeping 10 hours , and walking 4 thousand steps by 9 am . Next is a healthy salad and my p90x3 workout . For supper my husband wants kielbasa not my favorite . I am added roasted potatoes , and onions , peppers , zucchini and yellow squash, tomatoes and beets from the garden . That way we both can be happy and healthy then maybe an after supper walk and a backyard fire . Sorry Got to Go there is a book and a tree I have to get too. Hugs Happiness and Healthy Living

The human race usually does to much . We just keep going and don't know how o stop , to relax , to slow down , to breathe .
We work very long hours and come home to tired to cook or relax. Some times we even overdue it with exercise and get burnt out because we work at it to hard or do it to excess never giving us time to recover.
We forget to go to bed , and when we do we are two wound up to sleep well and fitfully.
We take a vacation but often need a vacation from our vacation.
We don't know when or how to say no , we need to get off the merry go round.
Life can just use you up if you let it. Learn to relax , to find peace and quiet in your day . Just sit and ponder . Read , meditate , find time with God and nature . Get some fresh air and just breathe your troubles away.
Today is my last day at work before a three week vacation. Where am I going ? What am I going to do. ? Relax , recover and recharge. Exercise and eat healthy . I will see where my legs will take me. I know we will find a quiet fishing hole now and then where I can read , we will picnic and my husband will hopefully catch some fish and return them. A day or two at the beach is also planned . My husband is going camping and fishing with a friend for the week , so I should have some quiet relaxing time.
