Yesterday I was feeling really "blah" after weighing in at my highest weight in over a year. But with just one day of renewing my good habits, I lost three pounds! Now, I know I didn't really "lose three pounds" in one day, and I know the number on the scale is only one small part of our health. But I'm reminded of how much better my body feels when I eat light and healthy and drink lots of water. I even had dessert, but it was two small cookies, not six, LOL My late-night snack was the veggies left over from dinner. I did not go hungry all day. I need to remember this feeling.
