Don't Stop Won't Stop D52

It had been twenty-one days since the last time I posted a blog. This does not mean that I have failed once again. I just have been busy. I haven't gained any weight nor have I lost any. SO, today I mixed it up. I am starting some strength training via Jillian Michaels. I have not done these videos for a good nine months, and oh goodness! Am I out of shape or what?! Fun stuff. This past weekend, we went to St. Louis for Valentine's day. I ate and drank whatever I want. Yes it felt good, but all the amazing food made me sick. My tummy could not tolerate it. So, I am glad that I splurged, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. However, I loved spending time with my husband, and if anyone does the Busch tour- make sure you go all in and do the BEER MASTERY tour. It is so worth it!
I hope everyone else is doing good with meeting their goals. The only thing I am not happy with is not participating in 5Ks. I cannot get anyone to do them with me. I will just stick to my Zombie Run.

Today I did four miles with Leslie Sansone. I also deleted most of my teams because of inactivity. I remember when I first found the site in 2007. Everyone was active. I am not sure what happened. It just kind of died down, I guess. I kept two teams, but by the end of the week- I will be down to one. Well, Now it is time to get up and make some lunch and do homework.
We are snowed in today and yesterday. Fun stuff :)

This weekend was jammed pack with bad weather and no exercise. Two day isnt bad. But it is Tuesday. So five days no exercise. No tracking. I feel bad. Tomorrow is a new day. Work out first thing tomorrow morning.
To make matters worse- my husband is still at work. He will be driving home in bad weather and I'm stressing.

I cannot believe I've lost TEN POUNDS in twenty-two days. It seems unreal. I've cut out all junk food, and lowered the consumption of my beloved Coke Zero. I drink as much water as I can-as well as- lowered carb intake. This month hasn't been the best, and I have been tempted: like yesterday at walmart I walked in and smelled fresh baked bread. OMG. I felt like a drug addict. Well, more like a food addict. I worry that I may not be getting everything I need so I started drinking Boost. I am extremely proud, and I hope everyome is meeting their goals.

There is one downfall- when I get back in the swing of thing like I am now- I become health crazed. I see numbers over all foods,and certain situations become hazardous to me such as this Sunday. People begin judging me because I turn sweets down or don't stuff myself like crazy. Or the people who put me down because I am losing weight. I was pushed to order a soda last week because the other person felt bad for getting one. Of course I got diet, but still.

There's an upside- my husband weighs 313 lbs. I've been on him for two years now about losing weight. Finally I gave up and focused on me last night he text me and asked for a light dinner because he wants to start cutting back.

Awesome Apps

I love my iphone & I have tried all kinds of apps.My favorites consist of:
ZenLab apps~ especially the weight tracker
Digifit which tracks your cardio via gps & sends you messages when you go too long without using it. It tracks distance, speed, calories burned, and time. My favorite tracker.
Then there's the ACTIVE APP. It gives you events near you: 5Ks, marathons, volunteering, triatholons, 10K, and on & on.

There's one app I've paid for which is ZOMBIE! RUN! 5K training. I like it so much that after I am finished, I am downloading the full blown app ZOMBIE! RUN! then the third app in the series.

ANYHOW! If anyone else has awesome apps they want to share~ please do. I'm always looking for something new
