Tough but...

Tuesday, January 29, 2013

Cardio kick boxing was tough, tougher than I thought it would be, but I survived and will be going back! Lots of ab and leg work.... so much I can "barely" do or do in very poor form... but I will get it, slowly but surely!!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!!

The main thing is that you "survived". Good job in getting it done.

Trying something new...

Monday, January 28, 2013

At 5:15 this afternoon I will be participating in my very first cardio kick boxing class!! I'm a bit nervous, but confident that I will SURVIVE!!! I love Zumba classes, but they are getting SO big... with 25-35 students per session.. while cardio kick boxing has less than ten... plus it's something NEW!!!

Everyone have a great day!

Forgiveness....

Friday, January 25, 2013

I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive. Forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note - torn in two, and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one. ~Henry Ward Beecher

Having a bit of difficulty with people who just can't give STUDENTS second/third/fourth chances... if we TEACHERS can't forgive students for bad choices and help them learn from them...how can we expect society to? (Forgiveness does not mean condone)!!

So true. We all make mistakes and we all need to be shown mercy.

I agree that forgiveness should be forgetting the trespass. If a person grows from the realization that they did something wrong and agrees not to repeat it.
