Blustery Day....

In the words of Winnie the Pooh, "It's a blustery day" today!! We need the rain so I'm not complaining! I am very pleased that I opted to get an eight mile bike ride in yesterday afternoon, which means I have my ten miles in for the week, just in case the rainy weather and/or colder temperatures hang around....

    It was chilly (blustery) this morning. I wore a sweater to take the trash out and did my walking inside to a DVD. But - I like it better than triple digit heat!

Week-end Workouts

Normally, our week-ends are so busy I'm not able to get to the gym; however today is a bit different and I'm now headed to the gym! YEAH!!!!
It's not yet 50 degrees, but once it warms up, probably this afternoon, my hubby has agreed to go for a bike ride with me!!! YEAH!!

Down....2.2 pounds...

Weigh in day and I'm pleased with my 2.2 pound weight loss, as every loss puts me that much closer to my goal weight! My next mini goal is to be under 200 pounds... which means a weight loss of 4.4 pounds... :) I find mini goals to terrific motivators!!!

Five Months...Until my 50th!!!

I woke up this morning with the realization that five months from today I will be celebrating my 50th birthday!!! Woo Hoo!! This means I must kick it in high gear, so that I am not only celebrating the half century mark, but the fact that I am physically and mentally at my best!!!! I have 100% confidence in myself and my ability to reach ALL my goals, thanks to SPARKPEOPLE and my wonderful support system!!! What a blessing this site and all its wonderful members are!!!

Busy, busy, week... means no gym time...

The week is half over and I've yet to make it to the gym... which really bothers me... as I NEED to be using the weights and machines and doing ZUMBA! Unfortunately, my gym schedule (this week) clashes with too many MUST DO's at work, so I'll continue to track my food and get as much extra movement in during the day as I can.... I'd hoped to get at least a short bike ride in this evening, but it's raining... so that's a no go... Tomorrow is a new day!!!

  My week has been like that also. I keep trying to fit in 10 minutes of exercise here and there - weights, marching in place - whatever. Evening conferences tomorrow night, 3 IEPs done for the week. It should get back to "normal" soon. Hang in there!
