Not feeling well...

For the past several days I've been having a bit of an earache.. but wasn't too concerned.. of course this week-end the pain became stronger... It's only on the left side of my head and is effecting the ear, eye, nose area.. the worse part is it's keeping me from the gym, as its caused my head to POUND!!! I'm not one to head to the doctor easily, but if this keeps up, I may have no choice.. Suggestions?

    Yeah could be an infection in the canal & sinuses. Hope you feel better soon though.

    I used to get ear infections all the time as a kid. My mom used to have me lie with my ear on a heating bad (covered with a towel of course and on low to medium heat). It always helped for the short term, but I suggest you see the doctor. If it's an ear infection and left too long, it could damage your hearing.

Weight Loss..

Yippy Skippy... I was able to lose the 1.6 pounds I gained last week along with an additional 1.8 pounds for a total of 3.4 pounds!!! My total weight loss now stands at 86.9 pounds with 18.4 pounds until I reach my goal of 176 pounds!!! YEAH!!!!

I've been working towards the 1200 minutes I pledged to get in this month for a challenge with the Fit By Fifty Team!!! This month is so very, very busy... but I am determined to get my minutes in. Determination and motivation will help me reach ALL my goals!

Just had to share my good news.... did a little shopping yesterday.. and had to buy size 14 pants... yeah.. not women's sizes just 14's!!! Whoooo....Hoooo.... I know I'm not small but I'm so much smaller than I was 80 plus pounds ago!!!

Disappointed but Determined!

I am disappointed with my weigh in results this morning as the scale shows I'm up 1.6 pounds this week! As I reflect on the past week, I can pinpoint a few times when I was as diligent as I should have been, so I will work on those areas this week. However, I did get my exercise in, so I'm not going to be too hard on myself... just seems like the last four weeks have been gain/lose/gain/lose which hasn't been the case in the past... I think I may have to adjust my caloric ranges! Any thoughts?

    I did shortened the length of my goal by 3 months. I think I also played with my calories burned goals. I reduced my calories burned goals even though I'm working out alot more than my goals. My calorie range was 1500-1800ish and I was losing so slowly even with all my workouts. It's now 1270-1620. This range is working out much better for me.

    I had that gain last week. As fast as it came on, it came off (plus more). I just adjusted my calorie range this week. I bumped up my goal date and it reduced my range.
