Stationary Bike.....

We're in St. Louis for the week-end... which is nice... but means I can't get outside to exercise! Fortunately, I was able to lift a few weights and ride the stationary bike for just a bit shy of 30 minutes at a level 5 and above... for a total of 6.25 miles... Felt good...

Walking! Walking! Walking!

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful and I'm pleased to say I took advantage of the sunshine!! My first walk was with my students when we took a twenty minute jaunt around our campus... Great conversation that wouldn't have been the same within the confines of the classroom walls!
Due to my tendency to be easily diverted from exercising, I opted to take my walking shoes with me to school, so I didn't have the excuse of coming home and putting off walking! I stopped by one of our beautiful parks and got in an almost two mile walk. Felt great!!!!

Day 2 of 5 K Virtual Walk

Today is day two of my participation in the 5K walk, which meant walking 1 mile!! I'm happy to report I did it and felt great afterwards... I could probably push myself harder and farther, but decided to start slow and steady.... tomorrow is 1.5 miles!!!!!

Today has been a beautiful day, with lots of sunshine! The sunshine inspired my young students and I to go on a twenty minute walk around our campus! It was cool and brisk and very exhilarating!!! If you haven't viewed the world through the eyes of a child lately, try to take some time to do so, soon!!!

Weekly Weigh-In Today!

Today is my weekly weigh-in for the Brummer Brother Challenge! I'm pleased to say that I lost 1.2 pounds, which is less than my weekly goal of two pounds, but I'll take it!!!
Not sure, why my loss was less this week, perhaps I didn't work out enough, I know I stayed within my calorie range ALL seven days, so I'm NOT going to stress over the smaller weight loss! Instead, I'm going to take it and say, Thank-you, job well done and set my eyes on next week! emoticon
