This morning I had a HUGE non-scale victory. I put on a skirt that I bought about two years ago - when I bought it, it was a little tight and I wanted to exchange it for a different size, but the store didn't have it. So I kept the skirt, and I just wore it up really high. So anyway, I put it on today, and it buttoned up perfectly PERFECTLY!!! just where it's supposed to sit. Not too high up, right about on the hips. I can't tell you how freaking excited I am about this!!! This is the first time in the time I've had this skirt that it's fit like this!!! So even though the scale doesn't look like it's moving much, this is a HUGE bit of good news!!! Hurrah!
Last night I did a 5K called Lights in the Parkway. There is a local Christmas light display that cars are able to drive through. It opens on Friday, but last night there was a race through the lights. It was SO beautiful! COLD COLD COLD (no more than 30 degrees F!) but it was so nice to run through the lights. Afterwards, we went for pancakes (MMM). I slept like a log for almost ten hours.
Today I am subbing for the afternoon. I'm glad I took the afternoon job! It gave me a good chance to sleep. Tonight after school I'm going to stretch class. Today marks Day 1 of my Recovery Week. I'm looking forward to some easy stuff and letting my body catch up on some rest.
- drink all my water
- enjoy stretch class!
- hardware store, if there's time.
