I have really been feeling motivated about eating healthy food and getting more exercise.
I have been consistently getting my 10,000 steps in and doing some toning.
So why am I bummed out?
I have been fighting off a cold but this morning I woke up feeling worse than ever: sore throat, headache, dizzy, and frustrated!
I don't want to lose my momentum but I guess I will have to take a step back and give myself time to recover. I know it could be a lot worse but I'm still bummed out!

Weather affects us all. It has been a strange winter weather wise. Hoping for Spring.
BUT today I am UNDER the weather! . Hoping for a better tomorrow!
Last year at this time I had lost 30 pounds!
My goal was to control my type 2 diabetes by losing weight and exercising.
That is still my goal but over the summer I kept gaining and losing and going nowhere!
This winter the weather has been nasty and I gained 5 lbs.
I am determined to get back on track, lose the 5 lbs. and head toward my goal weight.
But for some reason it seems harder to do.
On a more positive note: I met my goals this week!
I did 10,000 steps per day, drank 8 glasses of water per day, and had 5 freggies per day.
And I lost 1.5 pounds!!!!
My goals for this week include walking 10,000 steps per day,
drinking 8 glasses of water per day, and eating 5 fruits and vegetables
