6 steps forward, one step back emoticon

I kept finding things to do yesterday morning and the walk never happened. I finally got on my husband's exercise bike for 8 minutes before bed just so I could say I haven't really skipped a day without doing some exercise, but I know what I did was only for consistency, not for my heart.

Today I went out and just walked. And walked. An hour. emoticon

    I, too, have days where I just do some form of exercise to keep my streak going but I too, try to get on track the very next day! Yeah for you!

by the way, that apple baked In the Microwave with cinnamon was so good last night! I could probably eat one every day for a week!

I ran for 12 minutes this morning! I really need to get good earphones for my iphone and start running to music - I might run even longer!

One of those very very rare days, where I have eaten what I planned (except salad, because I didn't have any and didn't have money yet to get to the store...) and stayed in range (I am a little high FOR ME on my fat grams because I ate cheese 3 times today but it is in the Spark range...)

In fact, I am supposed to have about 100 calories more.

Hmmmm

yogurt?

chocolate ice cream?

Aha! an apple with cinnamon and 1 t of brown sugar, baked in the microwave!

Good choice! that makes #5 fruit/vegg for the day, and I will meet my goal!

pre-tracking again

I Pre-tracked my food last night, making sure I put in 5 fruits and veggies. I ended up working through lunch and going to a class (where fortunately no one ordered a pizza for us to share, as often has been done) so ended up eating 3 fiber one bars in one day (I knew if I stopped for fast food I would make a poor choice and I keep the bars in my trunk) so I only got in 4 of the fruits/veggies, but I made good choices and I feel good about the day. I will now pre-track my fruits and veggies for tomorrow!

    Sounds like a plan. I also pack my lunch and sometimes my dinner, if I think I may have to work late. It works for me.

good choices today!

Yes I did it!

I got up, got my shoes on, walked 30 minutes (and ran 5 minutes) and felt much better all day long.

Had the missionaries over for dinner and fixed something very healthy, home grown peaches with ice cream and a slice of pound cake was the food that added calories without adding too much nutrition, but all in all the choices were sound. Oh, yes, I also packed up the leftover dinner rolls and sent them on their way!

tomorrow, my goal is 5 fruits and veggies. I'm going to track them right now so I know I will get them in!
