Day 3 of my new program

And it is going well. I'm already down a pound Even it if is just water I am encouraged and motiveated to stick with it. It work before. Two years ago I was at my goal. I'm going to do it again for the last time because I will never let myself gain it back.

I am taking the TED Challenge posted by So here goes.

1. Three new gratitudes each day will teach your brain to retain a pattern of scanning the world not for the negative, but for the positive first.

2. Journaling about one positive experience you've had over the past 24 hours allows your brain to re-live it.

I've gone 24 hours without any back pain, very unusual.

3. Exercise teaches your brain that your behavior matters.

Today I will do 10 minutes on my bicycle trainer

4. Meditation allows your brain to get over the cultural ADHD that we've been creating by trying to do multiple tasks at once.

I will do today's Spark Coach visualization

5. Random or conscious acts of kindness - send a positive e-mail to thank or praise someone in your social support network.

I am sending my Spark buddy a Spark goodie to encourage her on our new streak goals

My goal this week is to ride my horse at least once and call my ferrier to schedule a trim. That shouldn't be too hard, right? Now I just have to dig my tack our from behind Paul's stuff to do it.

3 days off and now back on

OK, so I was off for three days, but that was the and this in now. Today I am back on. The heat wave seems to have broke, at least for yesterday and today, so I can get active again. I want to reorganize and clean my house while I'm off work this summer by doing one area daily. I'm starting today while the temp is in the low 90's. It feels great to be active again.
