Great video! I could tell you were nervous at first, but by the end you sounded like a pro. I will definitely consider spark coach just based on your recommendation. I can see where it would add accountability.
Good luck in your journey. You sure sound like you have the right attitude. Attitude is everything!

Moving Beyond 220

Saturday, July 20, 2013

I been so busy and stressed out at work since our motorcycle training season has started that I let that be an excuse to put my weight loss program on the back burner. Iíve been maintaining the same weight for the past few months, which I think is great! But Iím not settling to just stay there. Iím moving forward.
My goals and motivation hasnít been lost but exercising was the first thing that hasnít been a priority. I need to get back to it being fun and use it as a tool to distress after a long day at work. And, this is where Iíve been stuck at for the last couple of months, but NOT ANYMORE!!!
My husband has been a continual motivating factor and has lost I think close to 4o pounds. He is really motivating me in the exercising department. So, I had to start asking myself why I wasnít doing it and what can I do to start. With many tips Iíve gotten since being a member here, I knew the place to start is to plan a time Iím more likely to be moving and productive. After careful consideration, I decided the best time would be after workóbottom line. I just need to get some energy, so this would be a good time to start incorporating fruits and vegetables as some of my daily snacks for some natural energy without adding a lot of calories. So thatís the planÖ.Iíll let ya know the results. Spark on, People!

WooHoo!!! Iíve lost twenty pounds! Iím so proud of myself for the hard work Iíve put in, but most of all, I know Iíve come a long way because during those weeks I didnít lose weightÖI wasnít discouraged, I just kept focus on learning more about this new way of living, since the point of me doing this is my health concern.
I know these changes Iím making is for a better, healthier me, even if it just small steps each time. Smalls steps together make for big changes, and Iím seeing the results. And, with that, the weight will eventually come offóslow and steady!
Hey, to be honest, I didnít just look up one day and found myself over 200 pounds!!! Nope, it happened over the course of four years. So right now when it comes to weight loss, Iím in a patient mode. Spark on, People!!!

DeborahLee, I'm right there with you. I really like this program. I like the fact that it's free and I don't have to attend meetings every week like I did at weight watchers but yet I can talk to "friends" and get encouragement any time I need it. It also keeps me accountable for what I eat. Congratulations on your weight loss.

Releasing AgainÖ

Monday, January 07, 2013

Told myself I was gonna ďplayĒ with the Xbox this week and I meant it!!!

I was ready for the work out but gotta admit that after the work out when the game said I only burned 68 calories, I was thinking to myself that it sure felt like it was more because of how my body felt. But, most importantly, I was feeling good about my work out and actually looking forward when I do tomorrowís work out on the Xbox with the Your Shape Fitness Evolved fitness game.

This is such an adventure, sparking a memory of using an elliptical for the first timeÖI remember sweating and all that but I enjoyed it because it was new. A new adventure where I forgot I was exercising. I was in a zone. Back then I just focused on listening to my cd player of inspirational songs. I felt like I was releasing and wasnít focus on the fact I was actually exercising and doing something good for my body. And I wasÖbut also doing something good for my mind. Back then I never skipped getting up in the morning to work out at home or going to the rec (my collegeís gym) after class/work. I was pumped and ready to do it. I found myself in that same zone today and donít care how many calories I burned too because I know what is important to me. :) Iím releasing againÖand it feels so good to do that I want it everyday, now!!! emoticon

Spark on, People! :)
