Today I had an interview with a temp service. I didn't know what to expect because I never have used a temp service before. My nerves were through the roof but it was a piece of cake. I have a job interview tomorrow for a job at the pizza factory right by my house so I am sure anxiety will be back tomorrow. Fingers crossed and prayers that I get it. I've been a SAHM the past 4 years so I am filled with mixed emotions going back to work hopefully.

    Really wish you get the job, and if you don't, I wish it be because they offered you a better one. :)
You shouldn't stress about it, you know. You've worked before, even if it was long ago. And you did fine. :) This time it will be fine, too. Just relax, wear your best smile and have confidence. You are a worthy and capable person, and people in the pizza factory will see that. All you have to do is let them. :D
I think it's really important to calm down about it. I don't know what works for you, take a long, slow walk at some green park, or listen to relaxing music, or have someone give you a massage, maybe do some yoga... Whatever to take your mind off worries. Because you can cope with whatever the job brings, even if you feel insecure and afraid now. Always remember you are a capable person who can handle stuff alright. Just don't worry about it, you'll prove that to everyone, and yourself, when the circumstances asks for it. And you'll do it by simply being yourself and handling tasks the same awesome way you always do. So there's really no need to worry, because nothing good can come out of it. It only sreoos with your mood, and there's absolutely no reason to do that.
Calm down and everything else will take care of themselves. :D

  emoticon I've used a temp service before and it's real nice as you can end up with a permanent position. It's also a god way to get your feet wet if you haven't worked in a while. I like that they test you to determine your skills and you can always not accept the job. We used to get paid weekly as well. emoticon emoticon emoticon

BLC22 S.M.A.R.T Goals

* I will lose 10 lbs by August 28, 2013
* I will lose 2 inches on my waist
* I will run a 5k by August 28, 2013

I will accomplish these goals with the support and encouragement of my family and friends, including my Sassy Shamrock Sheriffs team.

I will do these things by exercising a minimum of 30 minutes, 5 days a week, including at least 2 days of ST. I will use the C25K app on my iPhone to train to run a 5k. I will drink at least 6-8 glasses of water/day and COOK healthier meals.

I will use the scale to measure my weight and measuring tape to measure inches.

I will do these things to be healthier, have better numbers for my bloodwork, and be a positive role model for my little princess. I also want to feel better about myself.

    Hi! Those are great goals. Are you enjoying the BLC? I am in the Golden Phoenix team and love it. They are kicking my butt with so many workouts; but, that's exactly what I needed. I hope it is going well for you, and that you are enjoying it at the same time.

Fit Test Week 1 - Cappy's Challenge

As a part of moving up in the Ranks for the Sassy Shamrock Sheriffs, our awesome cappy has issued a "Captain's Challenge" to go along with this weeks TNT. We are suppose to pick 3 of the activities from the fit test and post our results along with our fastest pace mile and a flexibility picture. I am going to post my results for all 5 of the activities though. So here are my results for the beginning of BLC22.

Crunches - 52

Squats - 41

Push-ups (Modified) - 8

Plank - 28 seconds

Wall Sit - 13 seconds

1 mile - 16:45

My apologies in advance on the pic. I know it is hideous but just another reason that I need to work harder.
