Doing This Again

Managed to gain about 10 lbs back and am ready to get rid of them (again). It sucks to see myself further away from the goal. I'm thinking my weight is holding back my progress in skating and I'm ready to change that.
Struggling a bit with lack of motivation to work out. Maybe I just haven't found the right work out. I can't imagine ever looking forward to a workout, unless it's a hike- and I can't do that every day!

    Are you a Derby ref? That would be awesome, but I would keep falling down. "When" I exercise, I like aerobics, zumba-group type exercise, doubles tennis, cut throat raquetball, have gotten away from BBall, softball because of age. Solo stuff I like swimming, bicycle and even walking. Why not do several (I tell myself)

Just Add Cardio

Today I began the 28-Day Bootcamp, hoping to jump start my cardio workouts. It's so easy to get home from work (on a night there is no roller derby) and plop down on the deck with a book until it's time to get ready for bed. I've been a little bit stuck at a 25lb weight loss for a couple of weeks. I'm meeting my nutrition goals every day, a few times I've been slightly under. All that's missing is the workouts. Here's hoping the 28-day Bootcamp challenge group gets me closer to my goal!

Halfway to Goal

So I began this journey in March, and so far I am plugging along to my goal-basically on target each week. I've lost a little over 20lbs, and that feels great.
I am wearing pants that have been way out of reach for the past 2 years, getting more comfortable in my skin as I get closer to my goal.
Good thing about summer, the heat makes me lose my appetite for the really heavy, creamy yummy stuff :)

Almost to Goal #1

My first goal was to lose 15 lbs. As of this morning I have lost 14! This means I'm going to owe myself a haircut. I think dieting is getting easier, as I see results I have the motivation to keep going. I'm giving in to small tempations, but in moderation. I'm fitting into some pants that have been hidden for a while.
Hooray for common sense diet and exercise!

the numbers are psychological, i suppose. I'm down 9 of my first 10 kgs,
basically the same as you.

End of Week 3

Pretty much on target, had a couple of days that I surpassed my allotted calorie range-but put in a little extra on the bike to try and make up for it. There are some foods that I'm just never going to stop craving-now I'm trying to learn to eat healthy portions (Pringles! Butter chicken! Bagels!)
Have lost 8 lbs, I feel energetic and happy about that.
I'm going to look awesome at the beach this summer! (does that count as a 5 min self-pep talk?)
