I am feeling great. The scale doesn't seem to be moving, but SparkCoach is helping me focus on small daily goals. I'm counting my victories and trying to keep my streaks going. It's amazing how much such a little thing motivates me.
On Wednesday evening, I found myself race-walking up and down the terminal at DFW, dragging my suitcase, because I didn't want to have to restart my 10-minutes-a-day-of exercise streak. Keeping that streak going by doing one thing today is much more manageable than trying to lose 40 pounds.
I am feeling so great! Today I managed to run 1.5 miles, continuously, without a walk break. I was so excited I then ran 2 more 1/2 mile intervals. I'm getting both tougher mentally, and more positive.
I know there will be rough times ahead, but for now, I am victorious and happy.
